PageOne vs Ubersuggest for small business
Both are priced for small businesses. The difference is what you get for the money: Ubersuggest gives you a lot of research to act on yourself, and PageOne does more of the acting.
The short answer
Pick Ubersuggest if you want to do your own keyword and competitor research and have time to write the content yourself: its $29 Individual plan allows 150 searches a day and a 1,000-page audit. Pick PageOne if you'd rather have posts written and published for you, your Google reviews answered, and your Maps rank checked across town, from $19.99 a month.
Ubersuggest's paid plans include 2 to 10 AI articles a month and no Business Profile tools. PageOne's paid plans include 16 to 35 posts a month that publish straight to WordPress, but far fewer research lookups.
Which one fits you?
Pick Ubersuggest if…
- You research keywords most days and want lots of lookups (150 a day on Individual)
- You want traffic estimates and backlink data for any site
- You write your own posts, or already pay someone to
- You'd rather pay once: lifetime Individual is $290
- You don't need help with your Google Business Profile
Pick PageOne if…
- You want blog posts drafted and published to WordPress on a schedule
- Google reviews need replies and your profile needs regular posts
- You serve several towns and want to see your Maps rank in each
- You want a morning summary of what moved and what to do next
- You'd like to start free and pay $19.99 a month when you're ready
Side by side: the entry paid plans.
Ubersuggest Individual ($29 a month) against PageOne Individual ($19.99 a month). Higher plans on both raise the limits.
Ubersuggest's free account allows 3 searches a day, 1 project, 25 keywords tracked weekly, and a 150-page audit. PageOne checks rankings every Sunday. Individual's 100 monthly checks cover 25 keywords a week, and each check also records the positions of the competitors you watch.
What a year costs.

Ubersuggest lifetime
PageOne Individual
Ubersuggest's lifetime plan costs less than PageOne Individual after about 15 months, if its limits and features suit you. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable. Ubersuggest was running a promotion on yearly plans when we checked, so we left yearly pricing out.
What PageOne does that Ubersuggest doesn't.
Ubersuggest tells you what to do. These are the parts PageOne also does for you.
- Drafts posts with images from a keyword, then publishes them to WordPress on your schedule
- Connects your Google Business Profile, with drafted replies to new reviews and scheduled posts
- Checks your Maps rank from up to 25 points across your service area
- Builds service and location pages in your saved colors and fonts
- Writes a daily briefing of what moved and what to do about it
- Sends branded PDF and Excel client reports with a written summary
Where Ubersuggest is stronger.
Worth knowing before you choose.
Far more research
Individual allows 150 searches a day. PageOne allows 5 keyword lookups a day, each returning up to 50 ideas.
Bigger audits
Up to 1,000 pages per project, re-crawled weekly. PageOne Individual audits 100 pages a month.
More keywords tracked
125 keywords updated weekly on Individual. PageOne Individual's 100 monthly checks cover 25 keywords a week.
Data on any site
Traffic estimates, top pages, and backlinks for any domain, not only the competitors you've set up.
A pay-once option
The $290 lifetime Individual plan has no monthly bill. No PageOne plan offers that.
Cheap add-ons
Extra projects, keywords, users, and searches are $5 a month each.
Questions people ask before switching.
Is PageOne cheaper than Ubersuggest?
Month to month, yes. PageOne Individual is $19.99 a month and Ubersuggest Individual is $29. Ubersuggest also sells a $290 lifetime plan, which works out cheaper than PageOne after about 15 months. Both have a free option.
Does Ubersuggest write blog posts?
Its AI Writer drafts articles: 2 a month on Individual, 5 on Business, and 10 on Enterprise. You export them as Word, PDF, or HTML and publish them yourself. PageOne drafts 16 to 35 posts a month on paid plans and can publish them to WordPress on a schedule.
Can Ubersuggest manage my Google Business Profile?
Not that we could find. Ubersuggest doesn't list review replies, profile posts, or Maps grid tracking. PageOne's paid plans include all three.
Which is better for keyword research?
Ubersuggest. It allows 150 searches a day on Individual and shows traffic and backlinks for any site. PageOne's keyword ideas are enough to choose topics for your own posts, but it isn't built for heavy research.
Can I use both?
Yes. Some owners research in Ubersuggest and let PageOne handle publishing, the Business Profile, and rank checks. If you do, start on PageOne Free and see whether you still need the research volume.
Do I need a credit card to try either one?
Ubersuggest's free account doesn't need one, but its 7-day trial of a paid plan does. PageOne Free needs only an account and your website address.
